Heavily relied upon to support the efficient operation of clinical applications such as Carenotes, EMIS & IAPTUS and coming soon RiO, to Trust staff. As our IT Dept evolves, so does the demand on the team. We are looking for a dynamic & enthusiastic team member to join the team that CARES, providing troubleshooting & problem-solving expertise along with an ability to adapt to the demand of installations, updates, testing & enhancements of our applications. The role is crucial to the development of the Trust clinical applications as we head through a period of change & growth with the introduction of our new EPR. We want you to join the team who are at the heart of making things happen. Whilst we can teach you the skills to become a vital member of the team, you need to bring with you a positive attitude, willingness to learn, great communications, strong interpersonal & analytical skills. A typical day will see you managing & resolving faults that have been reported by staff & partners. Working with solutions providers to get the best from our clinical applications, managing upgrades & configuration changes. Providing Trust assurance by ensuring all work undertaken is managed via Test/UAT environments, utilising testing plans & change control board before transitioning to Live. Working and liaising with fellow ICT Department colleagues to pro-actively manage applications & explore opportunities for improvement. The ability to pro-actively identify problem trends & known errors whilst working towards permanent solutions. The creation of quality documentation, project updates & training guidance is also vital to the role. Our aim is to make IT accessible and as simple as possible for all Trust staff. You will be required to work from Kings Court 1, Worcester. The contracted hours are 37.5, working Monday to Friday.
