We have a clinical team consisting of 5 GP Partners, 2 Salaried GP's, 2 Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Practice Nursing Team and associated clinical staff from our PCN. The Medical Secretarial role would be to support the clinicians undertaking secretarial and administrative duties. To facilitate the smooth running of the referral process by undertaking secretarial and administrative support to the doctors and health professionals. To manage the Practice Safeguarding and Palliative Registers, and arrange and Chair the respective meetings. To contact patients following discharge from hospital as part of proactive caring. To provide assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone. As required, to receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way.
