As Deputy Ward Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the ward. Your responsibilities will include: Carrying out appraisals to assess team performance and development needs. Undertaking regular audits to ensure high standards of care and compliance with policies. Ensuring all staff remain up-to-date with mandatory training requirements. Addressing any HR-related concerns and facilitating Occupational Health referrals when needed. Managing rostering queries and ensuring staffing levels are optimal. Leading the team in the absence of the Ward Manager, providing direction and maintaining operational effectiveness.
