We are fortunate enough to utilise 4 Canon CT scanners and 1 photon Counting Ct scanner that is to be installed in May 2025 These are across 2 sites. The range of CT examinations performed is extremely varied and includes trauma imaging, neuro, Cardiac, vascular and abdominal imaging including colonography. We also have a commitment towards supporting and developing clinical trials. Applicants will have a DCR or BSc in Diagnostic Radiography and also have HPC registration. Applicants should have good communication skills, the ability to multi-task and work as part of our existing team. The contract on offer is based in CT, rotational across all 3 sites within STH. Participation in the CT out of hours shifts and on call from home rota is also expected. To provide a high quality, responsive diagnostic radiographic service as part of a multi-disciplinary team, whilst maintaining a high standard of patient care. To ensure that safe practice is carried out in accordance with departmental protocols. Practically to carry out CT examinations accurately, safely and efficiently. To have a basic level of skill & knowledge, in relevant aspects of Radiography encountered in CT scanning acting as a role model for more junior radiographers and develop their skills. To maintain positive professional links with other medical and non-medical staff and promote good service and standards within CT. To deputise for the Superintendent in the absence of the Deputy Superintendent and liaise with the same to ensure there is continuity and communication within the speciality at all times.
