Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking highly motivated Diagnostic Radiographers to join their CT team, which operates four Canon CT scanners and is set to install a photon counting CT scanner in May 2025 across two sites. The role involves performing a diverse range of CT examinations, including trauma, neuro, cardiac, vascular, and abdominal imaging, along with contributing to clinical trials. Candidates should possess a DCR or BSc in Diagnostic Radiography, HPC registration, and strong communication skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and collaborate within the team.

The successful applicants will provide high-quality diagnostic radiographic services as part of a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring safe practices in accordance with departmental protocols. Responsibilities include conducting CT examinations efficiently, mentoring junior radiographers, fostering professional relationships within the medical community, and overseeing daily operations within the CT department. The position requires participation in out-of-hours shifts and an on-call rota, highlighting the need for flexibility and dedication to maintaining patient care standards.
