The CNS will be ward or department based and will also provide specialist education and training to staff in the multidisciplinary team. The post holder will have responsibility for ensuring that her/his specialist service is reflective of the Trust Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and will support the Matron and Medical Service Head in achieving the KPIs relevant to her/his area of specialist care.
