They will be working as part of an admin team who provide cover for each other. They will be responsible for the administration and clerical aspects of the Unit, including theco-ordination and booking of patients from Bristol and other Centres, database submissions and patient documentation. They will liaise with all parties involved in treating patients and assist in planning, reviewing and updating the service to meet clinical needs and local and national service targets. The Gamma Knife Centre is expanding its services, which we anticipate will lead to more hours becoming available in the future. To act as a point of contact for patients, visitors and professionals, on the phone and electronically via email. To facilitate administratively the patient journey, including referral from MDT, treatment and review bookings, through to follow up, ensuring that this is seamless through close team working. To maintain patient databases under the guidance of the clinicians, in accordance with protocols. This is a small team of multidisciplinary professionals working in the Gamma Knife Centre. The team delivers specialised radiotherapy to variety of patients including cancer patients. There is a wide variety of tasks required to ensure the timely throughput of the patients. You will be supported by the Gamma Knife Specialist Radiographer and another Gamma Knife Coordinator.
