The shift times are 19.00pm to 07.30am. Full time and part time vacancies are available, a minimum of 23 hours per week is required. As a staff nurse you will play a vital role in ensuring that our client group receive the highest standard of evidence-based nursing care. You will be providing evidence-based nursing care to patients requiring physical rehabilitation to help them to regain their independence following an acute illness, sub-acute illness, or surgery. You will be customer focused, caring and compassionate and provide a high standard of nursing care and collaborative team work to promote independence and discharge planning. Working in partnership with the patient, their family and/or carers to support this process. You will support quality and safety by practicing according to professional standards, taking responsibility for delegating to others and be a role model for junior members of staff and student nurses. The post holder will contribute to the promotion of an environment which encourages and supports the development of nursing practice. The post holder will be expected to utilise a variety of strategies to communicate effectively with family/carers, the multidisciplinary team, other departments within the organisation and pertinent agencies outside the organisation. With support from senior nursing staff, the post holder will be able to demonstrate clinical skills to provide the highest standard of individualised patient care.
