STU is a fast-paced, 16-bedded unit with a seating area accommodating up to 20 patients awaiting assessment. Carry out clinical duties in accordance with National, Trust and local standards and policies. Advise patients/clients about health promotion and prevention of illness. Take responsibility for the correct use and operation of medical equipment in accordance with relevant Trust and national guidance. Assist in monitoring standards of care within the Trust's Governance Framework and agreed priorities, contributing to audit where possible. About us This vacancy is open to those who have a current NMC PIN to practice as a Registered Nurse or Midwife in the UK, or those who are currently enrolled on a course which means they expect to receive their full NMC Pin within the next 2-3 months. Please note an NMC PRN Pin is not a full NMC Pin and would not fulfil the essential criteria for this role. The NCA can no longer accept applications from International Nurses and Midwives who are yet to complete all competencies needed to receivea full NMC PIN to practice in the UK as we have paused our OSCE programme indefinitely.
