Each will work with a consultant or pair of consultants. The Fellow will also be expected to co-operate with and develop good working relationships with junior doctors in other departments. The Fellows will also be expected to maintain good working relationships with the departmental nursing staff, the staff in diagnostic departments and the physiotherapy departments. Clinical Fellow in Orthopaedics (ST1/2 equivalent) Applications are invited from eligible candidates to apply for a Clinical Fellow (ST1/2 Level) with Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust. Working across both our Wigan based acute site and elective Wrightington Hospital site, the roles are covering training vacancies. The successful candidate will be part of a busy on call rota and spend time in clinic, trauma theatre and on the wards. The post attracts a work schedule, which is subject to changes. This vacancy is advertised on a fixed term basis as it has been established to provide support to the on call SHO rota until August 2025. About us Attendance at Orthopaedic out-patient clinics, operating lists, fracture clinics and across the Muscular Skeletal Division active participation. Attendance at Ward Rounds, operating theatre sessions. Day to day management of in patients under the teams care. Collecting and presenting data for medical audit meetings. Signing death certificates and personally notifying deaths to the HM Coroner where necessary and after discussions with the Consultant, if required. To facilitate medical audit junior medical staff must keep medical records in the manner prescribed by their Consultant/ Division. "}
