Experience working in general practice would be ideal but is not essential. We are looking for a Practice Nurse who is driven to ensure we are giving our patients the essential care and support that they need. The Practice Nurse role is vital and varied and the successful candidate would ideally be able to undertake a full range of core clinical competencies as identified in the job description. Provide nursing treatment under the direction of the GP's. Ensure that all monitoring processes for patients with chronic diseases are undertaken in accordance with practice policy and in a timely manner. Ensure accurate notes of all consultations and treatments are recorded in the patients notes/computer records Ensure collection and maintenance of statistical information required for regular and hoc reports Assist in the formulation of practice philosophy, strategy and policy. Ensure the adequate maintenance of equipment and stock levels in the treatment rooms, liaising with the Practice Manager.
