Telephone hospitals for test results and to make appointments. Taking messages and recording them in the daybook. 3. General Ensure total confidentiality in that no information about patients, either medical or personal is disclosed to persons other than those employed by or attached to the practice for which such information is relevant. Dealing with problems and queries from the Doctor, other members of staff and attached staff. Filing of medical records letters and test results. Sorting and improving medical records and renewing envelopes where necessary. Entering medical information onto the computer as and when appropriate. (Training will be arranged for this.) Opening the premises each morning and securing them at night. Such other duties as agreed with Doctor.
