About us JOB SUMMARY Responsibility for all treatment room work, to include venepuncture, cytology, dressings, ear syringing, vaccination and assist in minor operations. Run Health Promotion clinics. Promote health by health education and counselling. PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Advise on the promotion of health and prevention of illness. 2. Recognise situations that may be detrimental to health and well-being of the patient. 3. Maintain clinical knowledge and undertake education and training in order to do so. 4. Maintain accurate and up to date records, manual and computerised. 5. Conduct good practice in all aspects of care and nursing. 6. Maintain good working relationships and communication with patients, Doctors, and all other members of the team. 7. Carry out injections and immunisations as appropriate. 8. The introduction, development, and responsibility of preventative health checks to practice patients. 9. Visit elderly patients in their homes to assess social, domestic, and intellectual status.
