Applications are invited from efficient and suitably qualified individuals for the post of a part time Band 3 Clinical Secretary within the Ophthalmology Team based at Prince Philip Hospital, Llanelli. Working 22.5 hours per week, the successful candidate will be required to support the delivery of a comprehensive and quality secretarial service to the Consultants and their teams. You will undertake a wide-range of duties including receipt and distribution of mail, audio transcription, and the typing of highly sensitive letters and reports, maintaining confidentiality at all times, in addition to operation of the Health Board's patient database system. You will be expected to demonstrate excellent organisation skills and be flexible and adaptable in your approach to work. You must be able to work on your initiative, use tact and diplomacy where appropriate and possess excellent communication skills. Experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and E-Mail, coupled with previous experience of working in an administrative/office environment.
