As a Salaried GP you will be responsible for delivering the highest standards of clinical care for all registered and temporary patients. Our current list size is 3225, with a GOOD CQC rating and we are, regularly high QOF achievers. We would love to hear from dynamic, committed and caring GPs, able to offer 5 sessions per week and who can demonstrate a strong work and team ethic, we are offering a salary of £10.5K - £11K per session dependent on experience and duties. The post-holder will be expected to adhere to GMC standards for good medical practice, leading by example and maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team. The starting date for the position is December 2024. Delivery of highly effective medical to all patients To work to the GMS/PMS contract Generic prescribing adhering to local and national guidance Effective management of long-term conditions Administration work - referrals, repeat prescription etc. To undertake telephone triage and duty doctor roles. Working collaboratively, accepting an equal share of the practice workload Working to best practice clinical guidelines and the audit process. Contribute to the successful implementation of continuous improvement and quality initiatives within the practice. Accept responsibility for all clinical areas of the QOF. Attend and contributing to practice meetings and others. Ensure compliance with the appraisal process. Prepare and complete the revalidation process. commit to self-learning and professional development across the practice team. Support the training of medical students from all clinical disciplines. Support the Partners and Management Team in achieving the strategic aims of the practice. To review and adhere to practice protocols and policies. Home Visits and Care Home management. About us Duties & Responsibilities of the Post: The following are the core responsibilities of the salaried GP. There may be on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels The delivery of highly effective medical care to the entitled population The provision of services commensurate with the GMS/PMS contract Generic prescribing adhering to local and national guidance Effective management of long-term conditions Processing of administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescription requests and other associated administrative tasks. To undertake telephone triage and duty doctor roles. Maintain accurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy, and guidance. Working collaboratively, accepting an equal share of the practice workload Adhere to best practice recommended through clinical guidelines and the audit process. Contribute to the successful implementation of continuous improvement and quality initiatives within the practice. Accept responsibility for all clinical areas of the QOF.
