The post holder will have service management responsibility for the Urgent Care and Assessment Team (UCAT) and Crisis House Service . As the service manager, the post holder will promote a culture based on principles of recovery, choice, and individualised care, in which service users can expect to be active in decision making about their care and treatment. This culture will also be based around intrinsic values of kindness, compassion, and a desire to help others. Reporting to the Head of Mental Health Community Services the post holder will be responsible for the line management of Operational Managers within their service supporting them to lead and develop their team. To take overall management responsibility for all aspects of service delivery and operational activity for the service To be responsible for operational performance indicators including contractual, financial, quality and safety, and people To provide leadership holding responsibility for operational delivery of service outcomes. To lead and participate in transformation project work and quality improvement To improve and develop the agreed service model, developing clinical structures, recruiting staff and operationalizing the service To put in place and monitor arrangements for partnership working among different teams and agencies To lead the development of integrated pathways for service users accessing the service and other community interventions Management of buildings where portfolio services are based To develop robust interagency relationships with key agencies supporting the development of integrated care pathways. To develop, implement and put in place monitoring arrangements for integrated and partnership working To ensure Service Users and Carers are included in all the work the service does.
