This post is in Older Adult Community Psychiatry and will be base at Shorelands in Blackpool. The post is fixed term for 3 years and we will be able to provide a Certificate of Sponsorship for those requiring a Skilled Worker Visa to gain Right to Work in the UK. An annual review would take place to assess your progress towards Specialist Registration. The posts are also eligible for sponsorship for GMC registration subject to meeting minimum criteria set out in the Person Specification. Please check these criteria first prior to submitting an application, if this is the route you are considering, as the essential criteria will need to be met fully to be considered for this route.. This exciting and varied role in Older Adult psychiatry would give experience working with the Older Adult Community Mental Health Team (CMHT), Rapid Intervention and Treatment Team (RITT) and other teams aligned to the provision of older adult mental health services on the Fylde Coast. The role would include assessment of new patients referred to the service, care and treatment and also any referrals to other services in the area. You would be supported in working towards Section 12 approval, and once this was achieved, there may be the opportunity to join the Out of Hours On Call rota, for which additional remuneration would be paid.
