The International Fellowship in Older Adult Psychiatry at the Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust in Blackpool is a fixed-term, three-year position aimed at experienced psychiatrists pursuing GMC specialist registration through the portfolio pathway. The role is based at Shorelands, focusing on Older Adult Community Psychiatry, and involves working with various teams, including the Older Adult Community Mental Health Team and the Rapid Intervention and Treatment Team. Responsibilities include assessing new patients, providing care and treatment, and making referrals to other services. The position also offers support for achieving Section 12 approval and may include opportunities to join the Out of Hours On Call rota with additional remuneration.
