Leading our large reception team who work across two sites seeing patients in person and on the phone. Working with the team and the reception manager to ensure an efficient working environment whilst supporting the team. Reception Team Lead will be responsible for, Reception team appraisals Feedback & coaching for reception staff Training new receptionists Ensuring compliance training is up to date Trouble shooting & Problem solving Ensuring high standards within reception Newsletter & Communication to the reception team Facebook & website posts for sharing information to patients Helping with NHS App queries. Overtime is available to cover leave & absence and we ask all staff to help with this where possible. To assist with the smooth and efficient running of reception in a pleasant and courteous manner including leading the Reception team. We have 18 receptionists in total working across two sites. Provide general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone. To support the reception team in a busy environment. To problem solve as and when required. To co-ordinate between the reception team, patients & The Management Team and Partners. To maintain accurate and timely computerised data. To keep the Practice premises to the quality and safety standards agreed. Responsibilities The following are the core responsibilities of the reception team lead. There may be on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels. The reception team lead is responsible for supervising and supporting the reception team & working with the Reception Manager, ensuring they achieve their primary responsibilities. Reception Team Lead will be responsible for, Leading a large team in a positive way. Promote a positive attitude within the reception team Reception team appraisals Feedback & coaching for reception staff Training new receptionists Trouble shooting & Problem solving with a positive attitude. Ensuring high standards within the reception department Maintaining and monitoring the practice appointment system Newsletter & Communication to the reception team Facebook & website posts for sharing information to patients Ensuring compliance training is up to date Helping with NHS App queries.
