We are looking for a skilled Health Care Assistant to provide frontline support in our integrated sexual health service. Key responsibilities include: Acting as the first point of contact for patients requiring asymptomatic screening, conducting tests such as phlebotomy, urinalysis, pregnancy testing, and STI self-testing instruction. Assisting in clinical procedures, including the collection and recording of specimens, and providing support during implant and IUCD fittings. Offering advice on safe sex practices, performing condom demonstrations, and ensuring all clients receive confidential, non-judgmental care. Assisting clinical staff with patient assessments, including blood pressure, height, weight, and BMI recording. Working within safeguarding frameworks, addressing concerns about child sexual exploitation, female genital mutilation, and domestic abuse, while following protocols. Engaging in chaperone duties, ensuring a positive experience for clients, and participating in regular clinical supervision.
