To accept referrals from medical/nursing staff of newly diagnosed and existing skin cancer patients and pt with sun relates changes . To ensure that patients are seen within the recommended time scales and targets where these are in place. To utilise specialist skills, underpinned by in depth theoretical knowledge, to facilitate the assessment, planning and implementation of individualised programmes of care for patients presenting with a specialist condition and to evaluate their programmes of care. To undertake initial assessment of patients including physical examination, assessment/investigation of symptoms, evaluation of test results and recommendation of further diagnostic tests.
