{"interviewQueryText":"What are some good interview questions in British English for the job description below?\n\n-------------------------------------------\n\nAssistant Psychologist with Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and wear (CNTW) NHS Foundation Trust in Newcastle upon Tyne\n\n Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne & Wear NHS Foundation Trust are looking for 4 candidates for temporary Assistant Psychologist roles. These could be 4 days a week for 5 months or some other part time working arrangement subject to negotiation. NHS England continues to have a focus on improving equity of access and inclusion for entrants to clinical psychology training for groups currently under-represented. It is very important to improve diversity of the workforce to better represent the users it supports. The Assistant Psychologist roles are intended to give opportunities to develop initial clinical experience for aspiring clinical psychologists who would otherwise experience significant barriers from entering the profession, e.g. those who come from a minoritised ethnicity. Whilst the posts are open to any qualified applicants, those who have experience of disadvantage relating to their socioeconomic circumstances and/or or any protected characteristics under the Equality Act are particularly encouraged to apply. Candidates would gain a good understanding of the role of Clinical Psychologists in our services, with many opportunities to shadow and observe as well as engage in clinical work, research and service evaluations. The successful candidates will also be provided with training and CPD opportunities. In addition, there will be opportunities to network with other Assistant Psychologists in the Trust and to take part in peer supervision. We are now in a position to be able to offer Sponsorship for this role in line with the Trust Framework that supports this process. About us As part of our key commitment to address social inequalities in health, we are particularly seeking to employ psychology graduates with the drive to make a significant contribution to this priority. This includes candidates from the many diverse social and cultural communities the Trust serves which are currently under represented in our psychology staff groups. Candidates who can bring this valuable experience, including the ability to provide care in any of the languages of local communities, will be supported to develop their careers and flourish as valued members of our services. We recognise that many individuals who apply for Assistant Psychologists roles have a long term goal of obtaining a place on Clinical Psychology Training, however candidates from a minoritised ethnicity continue to be under-represented on Training courses. As a Trust we are committed to addressing these disparities in Clinical Psychology and are passionate about increasing representation in our psychological professions workforce. In previous years successful candidates have been based in a range of different psychological specialties, including: NHS Talking Therapies & Primary Care Head Injuries Service Older Peoples Service Children & Young People Secure Estate & Forensic Adolescent Service Child & Adult Learning Disability Service Rehabilitation and Acute Inpatient Services The actual psychological specialties are yet to be confirmed for this years cohort. Please note that there will be a cap on applications, so we advise you to apply as early as possible. Please find attached job description for full details.
