The Renal unit at Ludlow has 4 dialysis stations and is open 6 days a week from monday to Saturday. Previous experience is essential however we are keen to develop staff with further training and courses. As a dialysis nurse you will care for patients in Chronic Kidney Failure who attend the out patient unit for dialysis 3 times a week. Responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation ofindividualised patient care. Working in partnership with patients and their carers to ensure the patients training needs are met ensuring their safety to dialyse at home. To ensure the patient's physical, spiritual and emotional needs are met. Formulate and deliver high quality dialysis therapy. Assessment of patients without direct supervision, seeking guidance on actions that are outside agreed defined standards.
