The SPA Team provides urgent care and support to people who are experiencing a mental health crisis in Worcestershire. The post holder will provide a comprehensive administration and information service and coordinate their activities with other members of the administration team to ensure an efficient and confidential service is provided. The administrator duties will also include minute taking, staff rota duties and will require a flexible approach to work. With a starting salary of 24,071 per annum with a generous NHS pension scheme and a fantastic annual leave package (27 days annual leave plus bank holidays) what is not to like? Applicants require a level 3 Business Admin qualification or equivalent. This is a permanent post working 37.5 hours per week. (Monday-Friday - 9-5). Location is at the Elgar Unit, Worcester. You will be a part of the busy admin team supporting Single Point of Access (SPA) and the Urgent Care team. You will undertake a vital role in the referral of patients to the mental health teams, assigning referrals to the correct service and being the first port of call for urgent referrals. The role requires telephone duties, inbox management, minute taking, day to day running of the SPA team, supervisions, and appraisals. The role will include contact with professionals (internal & external) and colleagues daily. As well as being part of the Urgent Care admin team you will act as a member of the wider admin function providing support and cover when required, liaising with the clinical teams, and actioning daily admin tasks. You are required to have a high level of organisational skills and be able to be self-motivated and a team player. The ability to prioritise a busy workload and work flexibly to meet demand are essential requirements of the role as well as a good customer service focus, when dealing with internal and external enquires.
