West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust has a fantastic opportunity for part-time practice nurse prescriber to work 4 days per week at their Glemsford Surgery - this is a 12 month fixed-term contract. You'll be at the forefront of innovative patient-centred care, contributing to a multidisciplinary team renowned for excellence. Assisting in and performing routine tasks related to patient care as directed by the partners, including wound care, cytology, ECGs. NHS health checks and urinalysis. Carrying out the travel clinic. Managing of minor ailments. Venepuncture. Routine child and adult immunisations. Chaperoning and assisting patients where appropriate who are being examined by another clinician. Assisting GPs with minor surgery and coil fittings as required. Requesting pathology tests, for example urine culture, swabs. Following agreed clinical protocols with referral to GPs as appropriate.
