West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust has a fantastic opportunity for part-time practice nurse prescriber to work 4 days per week at their Glemsford Surgery - this is a 12 month fixed-term contract. You'll be at the forefront of innovative patient-centred care, contributing to a multidisciplinary team renowned for excellence.
- Assisting in and performing routine tasks related to patient care as directed by the partners, including wound care, cytology, ECGs.
- NHS health checks and urinalysis.
- Carrying out the travel clinic.
- Managing of minor ailments.
- Venepuncture.
- Routine child and adult immunisations.
- Chaperoning and assisting patients where appropriate who are being examined by another clinician.
- Assisting GPs with minor surgery and coil fittings as required.
- Requesting pathology tests, for example urine culture, swabs.
- Following agreed clinical protocols with referral to GPs as appropriate.
