West Herts NHS Trust is looking to recruit a full-time band 3 Health Care Assistant to join our Team at Hemel Hempstead Hospital, Outpatient Department. This position require flexibility working Monday -Friday between 4-5 days based on the need of the service excluding bank holiday. Please note - unfortunately, we are not able to obtain a Certificate of Sponsorship (Work Permit) for this role. o To meet & greet patient on arrival, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment within the Outpatient Department.o To set up and prepare clinics.o To check patient's vital signs and document prior to consultationso To assist and chaperone clinicians/patients in clinics.o To ensure safety is maintained and patient experience is positive by treating all patients, relatives and colleagues with respect.o To ensure patients and their relatives/carers understand the outcome of consultations/Treatment and progress and discharge plan after care.o To support the Manager and Outpatient Team.
