To receive and register patient attending outpatient.
To perform clinical tasks appropriate to level of training and competencies e.g. Vital signs
To act as a chaperone as required by Clinicians and Patients.
To assist Clinicians with routine medical procedures, examinations and document clinical tasks such as chaperoning and consent.
To report any concern to nurse in charge.
To assist in maintaining the cleanliness and serviceability of Outpatient facilities and equipments, arrange for maintenance as and when required
To ensure patients are made aware of any delays in clinics.
To ensure all duties are carried out safely and to a high standard.
West Herts NHS Trust is looking to recruit a full-time band 3 Health Care Assistant to join our Team at Hemel Hempstead Hospital, Outpatient Department.
This position require flexibility working Monday -Friday between 4-5 days based on the need of the service excluding bank holiday.
Please note - unfortunately, we are not able to obtain a Certificate of Sponsorship (Work Permit) for this role.
