Southampton Children's Hospital Education team are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated nurse who is interested in providing clinical support and education within the clinical environment. The post holder will be supporting registered, non-registered staff and students on Piam Brown ward (Paediatric Oncology), providing support in competency and practice development. The Children's Hospital Education team consists of a lead nurse for education and practice and is supported by a team of ward based clinical facilitators who support and develop nurses in the clinical areas. The team supports learning, competency development and practice development across bands 2 to 7 as well as supporting nursing students. About us The role includes enabling and encouraging learners to take responsibility and accountability for their own practice. You will encourage learner participation, through equality of opportunities and acknowledgement of diversity; facilitate an open, honest and quality patient-focused learning environment. Use a variety of methods (e.g. simulation and technology enhanced learning) to deliver education, adjusting accordingly to learner needs, preferences and neuro diversity where possible. "}
