Midwives are employed on an integrated basis , rotating between hospital and community based services, including rotation into a Continuity of Care model as required. A Comprehensive induction programme will be provided and band 5 midwives will receive our competency package to facilitate their progression to band 6. Join us as a Rotational Midwife! You will be part of a team who combine excellent antenatal care to patients on postnatal wards, delivery suite and in the community. We work rotational through days, nights and weekends including bank holidays Job Summary To contribute to the provision of a professional midwifery service, ensuring the highest possible standards of care are received by women and their families. To act as an excellent clinical role model and practice autonomously within the parameters of guidelines/ policies, and sphere of professional practice. The post holder will provide high quality woman centred care in any setting, hospital or community, and may be required to work in a continuity of carer model. The post holder will support the preceptorship and development of junior staff, and undertake the role of Practice Supervisor and / or Assessor for student midwives.
