Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking enthusiastic and experienced Band 5/6 Integrated Midwives to join their dedicated midwifery team, offering opportunities in both hospital and community settings. The role involves working at Chesterfield Birth Centre, which features midwife and consultant-led labor ward facilities, including birthing pools, and a maternity inpatient ward designed for a welcoming family environment. Midwives will rotate through various services, including a Continuity of Care model, and will participate in a comprehensive induction program, with support for skill development and progression within the role.

As an Integrated Midwife, the post holder will provide high-quality, woman-centered care in multiple settings, including delivery suites and community healthcare. Responsibilities include maintaining professional standards, serving as a clinical role model, and supporting the development of junior staff and student midwives as a Practice Supervisor or Assessor. The position requires flexible working hours, including nights and weekends, and aims to ensure that the highest care standards are delivered to women and their families throughout their maternity journey.
