Play a vital, patient-facing role at Beech House SARC supporting adults, children and families after sexual assault. As a SARC Patient Crisis Worker you’ll provide compassionate telephone support, advocacy and practical help before, during and after forensic examinations. You’ll coordinate appointments, manage administration, assist with the use of the colposcope during examinations, uphold anti‑contamination and UKAS/ISO15189 standards, and deliver six‑week follow‑up casework to help survivors access housing and onward referrals. This role is ideal for caring, organised people with good IT skills and experience in supportive or customer‑facing roles — applications are invited from females only under a genuine occupational requirement. This is a zero‑hours bank post with flexible but unsocial hours across the South East (Beech House SARC, Crawley RH11 and surrounding sites). Shifts include days, nights, weekends and bank holidays with enhanced pay rates for evenings and weekends, full training (including the Forensic Practitioner Gateway and CPD), and access to employee benefits such as advanced rota planning, enhanced family pay after one year, pension and life assurance.
