The role can be offered at either a Band 6 or with Annex 21 -To start at a band 5 and undertake a one year training programme to obtain the relevant competencies and experience to meet the role of Community Mental Health Practitioner in Adult Mental Health and all duties, as indicated within this job description at band 6. You will be required to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and to provide specialist assessment, treatment and care to a caseload of people with severe and enduringmental health difficulties from within the local community. The successful candidate will be required to provide care to service users within the legal frameworks of the Mental Health (Wales) Measure 2010, the Social Services and Well- Being (Wales) Act 2014 and the Mental Health Act (1983) You must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, flexible in approach, able towork autonomously as well as with statutory and non- statutory service providers. Effective communication and engagement skills are fundamental to this role, as well as a current evidence-based knowledge and a commitment to working with individuals adopting a recovery approach and a commitment to working within a trauma informed model of care.
