About us The postholder will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of COVID-19 vaccines to patients in their homes across the East Surrey area. They will also ensure accurate data entry into the appropriate clinical systems and maintain effective communication with the Primary Care Network (PCN). This work will be carried out in collaboration with practice teams within the designated PCN. Key Responsibilities Take responsibility for the collection and safe transport of vaccine supplies and consumables from practices within the PCN, ensuring adherence to the correct governance processes. Visit housebound patients, assess their clinical suitability for vaccination, and obtain informed consent before administering the vaccine. Ensure timely and accurate data entry into point-of-care systems and update practices with any relevant information. Adhere to DHC policies, procedures, and relevant legislation, including the requirements of any professional bodies. Attend mandatory training as identified by DHC and ensure it remains up to date at all times. Undertake other duties as required, commensurate with the nature of the post.
