Having the ability to communicate with members of the public, all staff and health care providers are essential requirements of the role as is working effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure that our high standard of Outpatient care is maintained. The Outpatient Departments are housed within the Royal Victoria Hospital, Freeman Hospital, CAV on Westgate Road and some outreach areas. As part of the role, you may be required, on occasion, visit any of these sites in order to ensure continuation of seamless service delivery, however, your main base will be at the Royal Victoria Infirmary. The Main Outpatient Department deals with over 280,000 patient appointments per year. We are looking for a flexible and enthusiastic candidate who is an excellent team player, well motivated and capable of working in a busy and challenging environment to join our Outpatient Department. To assist in the organisation of the activity and the deployment and supervision of staff in the numerous outpatient departments, maintaining a level of efficiency to meet the needs of the outpatient service.
