You will be working alongside the Trauma and Orthopaedic team of consultants in this busy department. We provide a Monday to Friday service for adults and children following their admission to either the Emergency Department or the Minor Injuries Unit. We also provide a Plaster service to our inpatient Trauma Wards . The role would also include providing advice and support to the Emergency Department and Operating Theatres. The clinic coordinate a mixture of Fracture and Orthopaedic during the week. Applicants will need to be able to act independently within the UHB and professional guidelines, referring to supervisory sister/charge nurse as appropriate. The post holder may be required to work across other sites within CTM. Applicants will need to have a clear vision for best practice and evidence of decision-making and Organisational skills. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
