The team are based at North Moor House, Northallerton. The team covers the areas of Hambleton and Richmondshire. Due to the nature of the role it is essential that applicants are able to travel independently across the locality and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes. If necessary, adjustments can be considered in accordance with the Equality Act 2010. The Team work intensively to support adults with mental health needs and their families and support network in the community as an alternative to hospital admission. The Team operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year and operates a 12 hour shift pattern. You will be a valuable part of the service and support the needs of individuals accessing Intensive Home Based Treatment. You will work alongside a supportive team, which includes Mental Health Nurses, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers and Support Workers. About us The successful candidate will have previous experience as either a band 2 or 3 Health Care Assistant or equivalent in a care environment. The successful candidate must have completed the Diploma in Health and Social Care Level 2 or equivalent. Candidates must also have Literacy and Numeracy level 2 or equivalent and must complete the Trust Healthcare Assistant competencies within their probationary period (first 6 months in role). The successful candidates will be expected to enrol on the Healthcare Assistant Framework. "}
