HMP Leicester is a category B remand prison based close to Leicester town centre and train station. The Prison houses around 408 male patients, the majority of whom are aged between 20-40 years of age. Within this role you will be working closely with the multidiaplinary team including General Practitioners on site. You will be supporting patients with a high amount of acute mental health needs, any experience with secure hospital and impact pathway referrals would be beneficial. Hours This is a part time role working 2.5 days (18.75 hours) per week consisting of 4 sessions and half a day for CPD each week. We are flexible regarding which days Monday- Friday the sessions are worked. Salary This position is part time, you will receive an annual salary up to £189,900 per annum FTE - depending on experience. How will we support you? You will Provide excellent clinical care, assessment and treatment to patients on the case load onsite Actively participate in the strategic direction of the mental health service, lead the senior mental health clinicians on service developments and provide clinical supervision Work within the multi-disciplinary team to review referrals, determine appropriate treatment plans, conduct risk assessments, and engage in multi professional complex case reviews.
