The therapy teams for Urgent Care/ Medical and Surgical Divisions provide both inpatient and outpatient services across Royal Stoke and County Hospitals and cover the specialities of:- A&E and SDEC Acute Medical wards Frailty wards Respiratory Medicine including MND Critical Care Surgical Special Care Elective and Emergency Surgical wards Oncology and Renal Services Cystic Fibrosis Amputee Elective Orthopaedic Unit Hands Therapy This is a really exciting opportunity for someone to demonstrate their leadership and management skills in a fast paced acute setting as well as providing clinical expertise and guidance to the teams. This speciality lends itself naturally to innovative ways of working and we are looking for a creative thinking individual who thrives on new challenges and is able to demonstrate a solution focussed approach in problem solving. Support will be provided by the other Principal Therapists and Divisional Therapy managers and continuous development is provided through appraisal, internal training and external learning. Participate in Trust and external leading programs are actively encouraged. The successful candidate will be expected to fully invest in the Trust Values of Compassion, Improving, Safer and Together. The ideal candidate will already have experience at senior management level and be able to embrace the challenges and opportunities of working in an acute trust.
