You will be the lead in the pharmacy team in supporting the Research and Development team. Pharmacy Lead responsible on Research and Development of clinical trials. Be first point of pharmacy contact for research trial sponsors and CROs Lead and facilitate pharmacy aspects of Pre-site selection visits, Site Initiation visits, monitoring and close out visits. Oversight and management of pharmacy related clinical trials income Working with RDU and medical colleagues to identify areas of research priorities in respect of Clinical Trials of Investigational Medicinal Products (CTIMPs) and other related trials. Contribute to the assessment and feasibility of delivery of clinical trials within SHSC (where applicable) Attend local / regional pharmacy research networks. Oversight of expenditure and reimbursement for the pharmacy team for clinical trials (Research and Development (R&D)). As a clinical pharmacist within the trials team, the post-holder will ensure that all pharmaceutical aspects of clinical trials validation including digital systems are built in accordance with good clinical practice (GCP); good manufacturing practice (GMP); statutory national and international standards; and clinical need. Support the coordination of local response in a timely manner, working closely with the: clinical and research teams; Pharmacy; Sponsors; and R&D department. "}
