The duties are to perform technical and scientific processes within the Haematology/Transfusion discipline to support the BMS staff. This involves: receipt/recording of samples (blood transfusion), performing sample analysis by utilising the departments automated analysers, troubleshooting and maintenance of analysis, running quality controls processes, supporting the BMS staff to aid the diagnosis of haematological disorders and transfusion related complications, while following the department's written procedures (SOP's). Please refer to job description for a list of the main duties associated with the post.
