{"interviewQueryText":"What are some good interview questions in British English for the job description below?\n\n-------------------------------------------\n\nResearch Assistant - till 31.03.26 with Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Bradford\n\n Closing Date: 22.12.24 (this may change dependent on response) Shortlisting to take place after closing date: W/C 30.12.24 (due to Christmas break) Interview expected to take place in the week: W/C 06.01.25 As part of the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) Mental Health Initiative, the NIHR Yorkshire and Humber Applied Research Collaboration (YH ARC) has received funding to support and prevent mental ill health in our region's young population. Early data from our Wellcome funded Born in Bradford Age of Wonder (AoW) study shows a potentially elevated prevalence of probable eating disorders in both South Asian and White adolescent girls in our cohort. We are well placed in Bradford to produce impactful research to map the extent of disordered eating in disadvantaged and culturally diverse inner-city Bradford. We want to address these urgent needs, through a cross-ARC collaboration , University College London and the Bristol Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) called Eating Disorders from cohort to clinic: a cross-ARC collaboration studying disordered eating and eating disorders in relation to service access across socio-economic and ethnic groups. This work will leverage the phenotypical richness of longitudinal cohorts (Age of Wonder (AoW); ALSPAC) and electronic health records (EHR) linkages to improve eating disorder identification and access to services for people with eating disorders, particularly those from deprived and ethnic minority backgrounds. The post will involve a range of duties as required to assist with the delivery of this research project. The post holder will work alongside senior researchers, secondary schools and young people across the district to deliver the research programme, assisting with co-production, the implementation of assessments and surveys, and embedding research into the school curriculum. The Research Assistant will be provided with opportunities to develop their own research skills in a range of methodologies. Further duties include:o Mindful of all research governance and data protection issues and able to work with colleagues to implement planned research o With appropriate training and support, recruit participants, administer and arrange assessments and surveys, assist with co-production and embedding research into the school curriculum o To assist in the set-up of research projects which will involve contacting schools, young people, and families; developing appropriate communication channels; ensuring all ethical and research governance approvals are adhered to; and maintaining concise and accurate records. o Assist in writing reports, which will include co-ordinating input from a range of senior colleagues working on the project. o To organise own workload in order to prioritise and support the work of the researchers and others in the project.
