The post holder will To take charge in the absence of the Deputy Sister, with the support of the gynaecology matron and/or lead nurses To be responsible for the care of patients assigned to outpatient clinics and specialist outpatient diagnostic and treatment procedures including women undergoing invasive gynaecological procedures such as colposcopy, hysteroscopy, trans-vaginal ultrasound, vulval dermatological treatments, urodynamics and flexible cystoscopy. Ensure all IPC protocols and processes are adhered to Ensure daily and monthly environmental and IPC audits are completed To be responsible for the recovery of women following said procedures Must have a positive attitude to Women's Health To provide high quality patient-centred services for women leading to improvement in care and positive patient experience Be available to work Mondays to Fridays, with the flexibility on hours during the day to cover the needs of the service.
