We have two part time vacancies available, with the hours below: Monday 08:00-13:00 Thursday 13:00-18:00 Friday 08:30-18:30 (with 30 minute unpaid lunch break) There is more to our receptionist roles than answering the phone and making appointments. In this essential front-line role at the practice, receptionists help patients to access the right services, ensure that appointment bookings are well- managed, provide a safe and high- quality service and assist with keeping health records accurate and up-to-date. Greeting and directing all patients. Making appointments and giving out appointment cards, where required. Accepting, issuing and handing out prescriptions, letters, completed forms, specimen bottles, etc. Dealing with requests for information, and managing problems and complaints. Advising patients of practice procedures. Registering new patients. Supporting our 'on duty team'. Answering the telephone, promptly. Further training will be available to further your skills to support your professional development.
