The Limes Medical Centre has an exciting opportunity for a receptionist to work within our front of house team, on a part time basis for 19.5 hours per week. We have two part time vacancies available, with the hours below:

  • Monday 08:00-13:00
  • Thursday 13:00-18:00
  • Friday 08:30-18:30 (with 30 minute unpaid lunch break)

There is more to our receptionist roles than answering the phone and making appointments. In this essential front-line role at the practice, receptionists help patients to access the right services, ensure that appointment bookings are well- managed, provide a safe and high- quality service and assist with keeping health records accurate and up-to-date.

  • Greeting and directing all patients.
  • Making appointments and giving out appointment cards, where required.
  • Accepting, issuing and handing out prescriptions, letters, completed forms, specimen bottles, etc.
  • Dealing with requests for information, and managing problems and complaints.
  • Advising patients of practice procedures.
  • Registering new patients.
  • Supporting our 'on duty team'.
  • Answering the telephone, promptly.

Further training will be available to further your skills to support your professional development.
