Job Profile We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Biomedical Scientist to join the Haematology team. As a Senior Biomedical Scientist, you will support the Chief BMS in providing an efficient and effective service and will work alongside Blood Sciences team members and leaders to cultivate and maintain a culture in which staff are continuously improving to deliver a high quality, efficient and effective service. Job Type: This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week. Shifts: 37.5 hours per week, shifts between 08:00 - 20:00 hrs Mon - Friday in line with the departmental roster (to participate in Saturday rota as required). Salary: £52,797 - £61,466. Inclusive per annum depended on skills and experience. Benefits package: Contributory pension scheme (total annual contribution up to 20%). Key Duties Supervise in the sections appropriate and carry out as well as manage the technical and scientific tasks within the team. Oversee and support equipment maintenance and development of the Quality, Learning and Health and safety Management Systems within designated work area.
