Senior Biomedical Scientist - Blood Sciences (Haematology) We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Biomedical Scientist to join our Blood Sciences team. This role is based at The London Clinic in Central London, W1G 7JL. Job Profile We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Biomedical Scientist to join the Haematology team. As a Senior Biomedical Scientist, you will support the Chief BMS in providing an efficient and effective service and will work alongside Blood Sciences team members and leaders to cultivate and maintain a culture in which staff are continuously improving to deliver a high quality, efficient and effective service.
Job Type: This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week. Shifts: 37.5 hours per week, shifts between 08:00 - 20:00 hrs Mon - Friday in line with the departmental roster (to participate in Saturday rota as required). Salary: £52,797 - £61,466. Inclusive per annum depended on skills and experience. Benefits package: Contributory pension scheme (total annual contribution up to 20%).Private Medical Healthcare.33 day's annual leave (Inclusive of bank holidays), pro rata.Season ticket travel loan, family friendly benefits, and a wide range of discounts with a variety of retailers/services, plus much more.We also offer excellent career development; with clear career pathways and access to further education. Supervise in the sections appropriate and carry out as well as manage the technical and scientific tasks within the team.Oversee and support equipment maintenance and development of the Quality, Learning and Health and safety Management Systems within designated work area.Carry out / supervise technical and scientific work in the laboratory under the direction of the Chief Biomedical Scientist or ConsultantWork alongside Blood Sciences team members and leaders to cultivate and maintain a culture in which staff are continuously improving to deliver a high quality, efficient and effective service Skills & Experience
