The M3 programme is an NIHR- funded programme aiming to develop and test a multi-factorial intervention in adults with early-onset type 2 diabetes (aged 16-40 years). The successful applicant will be based at the Leicester Diabetes Centre. The role will involve working closely with Clinical and Chartered Psychologists to contribute to the delivery of psychology alongside a full MDT. This role will be part of the delivery of a holistic and person-centered intervention, part of a wider research programme, the M3 programme. About us The responsibilities of the Assistant Psychologist are varied, but will focus on assisting with the provision of tailored psychological care to young adults (16-45 years) living with type 2 diabetes and multiple long-term conditions (individual intervention). Other responsibilities may include attending MDT meetings, clinical audit, and research-related tasks such as assisting with grant writing and dissemination. "}
