We are looking for reliable, flexible and motivated individuals to support the team. Post 1: full or part time providing support to Community Nursing , working within the Single Point of Access team based at Regent Point, Gosforth. Post 2: 30 hours per week, the post holder will work as part of a team of admin supporting the Urgent Treatment Centres across Newcastle. The centres are based at Ponteland Road, Cowgate and Molineux Centre, Byker. The admin staff within both these services work between 8am and 10pm on a rota basis including evening, weekends and bank holidays. Post 3: Full time post working within the 0-19 Service across various sites in Newcastle Actual working hours post to be discussed at interview. They will provide a high standard of admin support to clinical staff handling telephone calls, using electronic health record SystmOne and receiving requests from patients, carers and service users as well as professionals. To use an electronic referral process (SystmOne) to ensure requests are responded to in a professional, confidential and efficient manner. To receive requests from patients and carers, acute hospitals, GP practices, Social Services and health care agencies. To communicate directly with members of the public and other services. To abide by Trust policies and procedures To be an effective part of the team contributing to the departmental objectives. Post holder will be expected to contribute to housekeeping and other office duties as required e.g. general tidiness, pre-determined stock levels are met and equipment is clean, and stored correctly. Please note it is a requirement of The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust that all successful candidates who require a DBS for the post they have been offered pay for their DBS certificate.The method of payment is a salary deduction from your first months pay.
