What to expect

7. Can you provide an example of how you've worked effectively as part of a MDT in the past?
8. In your opinion, what makes a successful MDT in community mental health?
9. Describe your experience with care coordination. How do you prioritise and manage your caseload?
10. Can you explain the importance of the Mental Health (Wales) Measure in your work?
11. How do you ensure continuity of care for the patients you coordinate?
12. What motivates you to work in community mental health nursing, and how do you stay current with developments in the field?
13. Can you discuss a time when you had to innovate or adapt your approach to meet the needs of a service user or team?
14. What does professional development mean to you, and how do you seek opportunities to grow in your role?
15. How do you build rapport with service users and encourage them to engage with their care?
16. Describe your experience in communicating with patients who may have varying levels of understanding or literacy regarding their mental health.
17. As the ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role, do you have any proficiency in Welsh, and how would you approach working with service users from different linguistic backgrounds?
18. How do you ensure cultural competence when working with diverse populations within the community?
19. How do you measure the effectiveness of the care you provide to your patients?
20. Can you discuss any quality improvement initiatives you have been a part of in your previous roles?
21. Imagine a service user expresses frustration during an assessment. How would you handle the situation to ensure they feel heard and respected?
